Veldhoven 2016

Le weekend dernier se déroulait l'exposition SMC à Veldhoven. Un salon extraordinaire ou tout à été mis en place pour faire de ce weekend un grand moment de maquettisme et de rencontres. Les plus grands maquettistes renommés en blindés et figurines étaient présent lors de ces deux jours. Il y avait 1102 pièces en concours d'un qualité impressionnante.

Kiriakos Simos & Michael Kontraros for their consecutive Best of Show in Fantasy Figure Painting with Atonement.

Roger Hurkmans to obtain a Best of Show for his Avant Garde diorama in Historical Figure Painting. His second Best of show at SMC.

And Robert Doepp has also earned a second SMC Best of Show for his Zündapp KS 750.

La fin approche doucement. Une partie de travail effectué sur les zones rouges et le début du weathering.

The end quietly approach. A working party made on the red zones and the beginning of weathering.

Fin du weathering de la partie haute avec les coulures, le travail des impacts sur le glacis avant, les soudures des mystery brackets. Quelques retouche a faire au pigment noir sur ces éléments. Je débute le weathering  des parties rouges et je finirais par le bas de caisse avant de mettre les pigments.


End of weathering of the upper part with drippings, work impacts on the glacis before, welds brackets mystery. Some editing was done to black pigment on these items. I started the weathering of the red parts and I would end up talking underbody before putting pigments.

Le weathering avance doucement pour réaliser cette vieille caisse de E-75. Beaucoup de mise en place de micro peinture et de lavis.

The weathering advance slowly to realize that old basic E-75. Many setting up micro paint and wash.

Toujours sur la tourelle mais la fin approche. Encore un peu de travaille sur la base rouille/rouge, le weathering de l’accès du chef de char, la mise en place des marquages de construction et la peinture du canon. Prochaine étapes, les coulures, trace de graisse, humidité et poussières.

Always on the turret but the end approaches. A little work on the basis rust / red, weathering access the tank commander, the implementation of construction and painting markings of the gun. Next steps, drips, grease, wet and dust.
